Great Artists of the Italian Renaissance

More significant artists were born in Italy in the 15th century than in any comparable place and time in the history of art. The course focuses on the paintings, buildings, and sculptures of the Renaissance,
including works by DaVinci and Botticelli. Artists of this period continue to astonish us by their harmonies of drawings, color and proportion and by their embodiment of humanism. Please join us as we watch and discuss this Great Courses DVD series presented by Professor William Floss of the Smithsonian Institution.
